The Executive Committee met in Prague on Saturday 25th November. The meeting was organised so we could support keen local clinicians organise a one day scientific meeting on Ambulatory Surgery. This was held on 24th November and attended by 150 surgeons, anaesthetists and nurses. A mix of local and IAAS speakers provided an interesting day that was well received. We hope that this meeting will act as a stimulus for the formation of a national Ambulatory Surgery Group.
